Spiral, Horizontal Line Spinning

This is just the beggining

Protesting can be an art if you no what you are doing by doing these two easy steps

1. BE FLEXIBLE. Protesting takes time, and these people obvioiusl had lots of it. My fellw republicans and i nervously checked our watches and almented over how much work/school we were missing: I dont think i heard anyone else worrying over such frivolous matters. Also, as a side note, when the protesters in question is a kerry supporter, the phrase "be flexible" takes on a whole new meaning since they have to change their positions every week or so.

2. BE LOUD. you don't necessarily have to be inteligent to be a protester. Just very, VERY loud. Pick one point that you want to get across, and stick with it. One man at the protest decided the point he wanted to get across was "bush sucks." Everytime a reporter would try to interview me or one of my fellow bush supporters this man would shout "Bush sucks!" about three feet away from us. He would then wait about ten seconds, and repeat this intelligent argument. "Bush sucks!" It doesn't matter how ridiculous you sound, as long as you're loud. I'm sure he converted serveral people who were going to vote republican this year.

That was something a lady in new york said about protesting a year ago. Well you see I didn’t look into stuff like this therefore when I did my protest I got into lots of trouble and I didn’t even bother to figure out if the reason I got into the protest was a good one. Now I will tell you about my protest and you can tell me what I did wrong.

It was September 30, 2004 when we were sitting in advisor when our teacher Mrs. Larson announced that we were not ale to go to the Ymca or the public library and that we could not have our dividers up any more. All because she wanted to watch us and make sure we were actually working. Well some of my friends and I didn’t like this idea so as soon as advisor was over we all started making signs that read:

                   Journey’s unfair

                   --------------------

                       STRIKE!!!

And so on so forth. But when the teachers noticed this they all were wondering why we were doing this but we wouldn’t talk. So they got the principal to come talk to us and when we told him what we thought about this he told us to go down stairs to his office. Well we sat there for quite some time before he showed up and when he did all he said was there will be consequences. Well we didn’t like that either it turned out that two of us got suspended, one of us got warned and the other one which was me, I got put into nova which is were ISS (in school suspension) is but before I got to go through that I had to sit 4 days in jail I went in on a Thursday and got out on a Monday. Well now we all no what happens when you don’t do your homework before protesting.

       This is my opinion

Protest? Yes.
Marches, demonstrations do have their place, but are often counter productive in as much as they tend to annoy and alienate the unconvinced.

The most effective (and genuine) form of protest I can think of is to vote with one's wallet. Simply refuse to buy any product or service you deem undesirable.

In this manner you get to cast a very effective vote on a daily basis and you can be sure that industry - and politics - are paying very close attention to what is, or is not, being pushed past the check-outs.

Some other things you should no before protesting is:

While there are many fine causes out there, you may wish to start your own. This will get you even more of the attention you deserve as a stalwart activist of [insert cause here], and member of the cultural elite.
Creating a cause is easier than it sounds. As long as you follow, our vocal to the point of drowning out dissenting opinions, and make sure that there are plenty of hotties and drugs at your rallies, you'll have a following in no time.

Once you've picked a cause and either gathered a following, or joined in a group of like-minded progressives. Once you've picked your cause, inevitably (and often immediately) you will run into people who will assault your newfound convictions.
Never let them drive a wedge into the armor of your righteousness.
Remember that any "facts", or "logic" they use to persuade you your cause is incorrect and are the products of a non-progressive, patriarchal society founded by rich, white slave owners. Anything they say is therefore tainted, and not as worthy as your enlightened viewpoint.
When confronted with information to the contrary of what you know to be true, loudly retaliate with a healthy dose of socialist ideology. Actually considering, confronting, and debating their viewpoint is pointless since a true dialog is impossible without them being educated enough to understand your progressive stance on the issue. Force feeding them the wisdom these poor, deluded, capitalist lackeys obviously need is the only way for them to truly understand you.
Mongering indoctrination of the unenlightened masses promotes the violent silencing of dissenting viewpoints. Loudly and assertively stress this to everyone within earshot, when possible drowning out the objections and counter-protests of those deluded fools who disagree with your obviously superior ideals.

After all, a protest is worthless if the media doesn’t notice it.
The best way to project your superior ideology is by getting as much attention as possible.

A way you could possibly do that would be to stand up on top of the highest thing you can see that people can see you be loud and announce why your in this protest and be proud and confident in yourself.
